Privacy Policy

Short version: we use one analytics tool, only if you agree to it, and we keep the details you give us when you book so we can host you. We never sell your data.

   Who we are

   TheApartGym (Rooftop Apart Gym) is a short-term rental in Tamraght, Aourir, Agadir, Morocco, run by Yozi. We decide what happens to the data described here. For anything on this page, write to bookings@theapartgym.com or message us on WhatsApp — the number is in the footer.

   Analytics — only with your consent

   We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people read and how they found us, so we can improve the site. It records things like the pages you visit, roughly where you are (derived from your IP address, which Google truncates), and which browser and device you use. It never runs until you press "Accept" on the cookie bar: until then analytics storage is switched off through Google Consent Mode, so no analytics cookie is set. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.

   What you give us when you book

   The booking form collects your name, email address, phone number, dates, number of guests, the options you choose and any message you write. We use it only to handle your stay — confirming it, sending your invoice and getting in touch. This has nothing to do with cookies or consent: without it we simply cannot take a booking.

   Who else sees it

   Only the services we need to run the booking, each acting on our instructions: Supabase (database hosting), Resend (sending your confirmation email), Zazu (processing your deposit payment) and Vercel (hosting this website). Google receives analytics data only if you accepted. Nobody else — we never sell or rent your data, to anyone, ever.

   How long we keep it

   Analytics events are kept by Google for the retention window set on our property, at most 14 months; the aggregated statistics we read identify nobody and are kept longer. Booking records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and legal obligations, then deleted.

   Withdrawing your consent

   You can change your mind at any moment, and it takes one click: use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page — or the button just below — to reopen the cookie bar and choose "Decline". Analytics stops immediately. Declining costs you nothing: every part of the site keeps working exactly the same.

   Your rights

   You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Write to bookings@theapartgym.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can also complain to your national data-protection authority.

   Changes to this policy

   If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date above. Nothing here is set in stone — if something is unclear, ask us and we will explain it plainly.
